Job description

Billing Project Business Process Owner (BPO)

Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, hands-on and passionate Billing Project Business Process Owner (BPO) to join our Billing Solution Implementation Project team, with colleagues in Lisbon, Madrid, France and other locations. The role will be part of the Billing Project Functional Team and can be based anywhere in Europe.

In this role, you will have a mix of responsibilities :

  • Lead the implementation of the Billing solution and processes for certain of our affiliates
  • Verisure Billing Business Process Owner for certain solutions within the Billing architecture, some of which are : Billing core, Catalogue, Customer Manager front, Payment manager, Order Manager, Revenue Recognition.

On the back of the extraordinary growth we have enjoyed in the past years, the company is implementing its new Billing solution, built around ARIA Systems.

The Billing BPOS are key members of the implementation team and play a critical role to achieve this objective.

Implementation Responsibilities include :

  • Country business users Familiarization / Play-back, Training
  • Country processes Discovery, collection and understanding of requirements, Gap analysis, change request process management including challenging countries on requirements not covered by our global template-, gap closure measures proposal, functional design for any adjustments deemed necessary
  • Define and prepare User Acceptance Tests (UAT), defining and communicating test cases, preparing data sets, conduct unit testing, train validators before testing sessions, lead UAT, defect management : follow-up on resolution of issues. Coordinate cross-module sessions.
  • Other activities : participate in data migration strategy and execution, participate in definition and tracking of Cutover activities, hypercare support activities, other.
  • Experience and Qualifications

    We see this role as critical for the achievement of Verisure's growth and organizational transformation goals aiming for efficiencies, centralization and standardisation.

    As a result, we are looking for a self-starter and high potential / top performer individual who will combine Billing systems knowledge with proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business.

  • Subscription Billing Expertise : Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with subscription billing, including applying leading practices for complex client business requirements.
  • Experience of at least 3 years in implementation of Subscription billing processes and systems (e.g., Zuora Billing, Oracle NetSuite Billing Platform, SAP BRIM) in industries such as Utilities or Telecom. Experience implementing ARIA Systems is a BIG plus.
  • Ability to communicate complex system concepts to a business audience in a clear manner
  • Ability to travel up to 40% on average
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
  • University education

  • Fluency in English mandatory, other languages is a plus.
