Associate : Advice & Counsel- ELWM (New York)

Epstein Becker & Green is seeking a mid-level associate in its growing national management-side Employment, Labor and Workforce Management practice. Prefer candidates that will be affiliated with the Firm's New York office but will consider candidates affiliated with the Firm's other offices.
Candidates should have three – five years of relevant experience in employment law counseling and compliance, including with a law firm, or in-house as employment counsel or in a Human Resources capacity. The candidate should have a practical, business-oriented approach to advising clients. Relevant experience includes :
Experience with employment aspects of corporate due diligence and providing anti-harassment and other employment training experience is preferred, but not required.
Ideal candidates will also have knowledge of federal, state, and local labor & employment laws (e.g., trade secret law, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and similar state / local laws). Experience handling certain aspects of litigation such as interviewing witnesses, reviewing electronically stored documents, interacting with clients and opposing counsel is preferred, but not required.
Candidates must possess strong academic credentials and have excellent communication and writing skills. Juris Doctorate degree required. Admission to practice law in the state where the office to which the candidate will report is located is mandatory.
The expected salary range for this position is $220,000 - $260,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained.
