We are seeking a Director of Engineering responsible for overseeing multiple engineering teams and large-scale projects, shaping engineering policies, and influencing company-wide strategies for our Power Electronics Division in State College, PA. You will manage and mentor engineering managers and individual contributors, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products and solutions. U.S. Citizenship is required along with the ability to work onsite daily .

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR :

Strategic Leadership : Setting the vision and direction for the engineering teams, Lead the engineering teams to design, develop and implement cutting-edge solutions in power electronics (Satellite Communications & Medical).

• Project Management : Oversee the progress and timeliness of engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Technical Oversight : Provide strategic technical direction, mitigate risks and drive successful project outcomes by aligning engineering capabilities with long term business roadmaps.
• Product Management : Drive the development of new products and systems, from concept through to delivery.
• Cross Functional Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments (e.g., product management, operations, sales) to align engineering activities with business needs and goals.
• Resource Management : Manage engineering budgets, allocate resources effectively, and ensure efficient staffing.
• Innovation : Drive technological innovation within the organization, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.
• Process Improvement : Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Compliance : Ensure that engineering solutions comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
