Job Summary :

The Body Shop Manager at Classic Ford Lincoln - Columbia is a full-time management role in the auto industry.

The manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the Body Shop department, ensuring high-quality repairs and excellent customer service.

This individual will work closely with the Service Manager to achieve departmental goals and maintain a profitable business.

Compensation & Benefits :

This position offers a competitive base salary of $70,000 to $125,000 per year, paid semimonthly.

In addition, the manager will be eligible for commission based on departmental performance.

Responsibilities :

Manage all aspects of the Body Shop department including staffing, training, and daily operations.

Ensure timely and accurate completion of all repairs and maintain high-quality standards.

Work closely with the Service Manager to develop and implement departmental strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.

Monitor departmental budget and track key performance indicators to achieve financial goals.

Develop and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and insurance companies to promote repeat business.

Conduct regular performance evaluations for Body Shop employees and provide ongoing coaching and training.

Oversee inventory and ordering of necessary supplies for the department.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with OSHA and company standards.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in automotive body repair.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by upper management.

Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Post-secondary education in Automotive Technology or Business Management is preferred.

Previous management experience in an auto body shop is required.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

Knowledge of automotive parts and repair processes.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
