Job description5+ years. commercial construction experience with large sophisticated mechanical and electrical systems. Position requires extensive experience managing the construction of aviation projects and complex electrical and mechanical infrastructure projects. Candidate must have experience in developing project scopes and schedules, coordinating change orders and RFIs, managing and tracking project budgets, and cost control. Strong experience managing professional relationships with owner's representatives, architects, engineers, and clients while supervising trade partners and vendors is a priority.
Holder Construction, an Atlanta-based commercial construction company with operations throughout the United States, is seeking a highly motivated MEP Coordinator to join our Fort Wayne, IN team.
Primary Responsibilities
- Controls / power monitoring coordination including RFIs, submittals, graphics, testing, and checkout.
- CX lead, including CX schedule ownership, issue tracking and closure, CX checklist readiness reviews, and overall CX communication with client, engineer, and CX provider.
- Responsible for the specific mechanical and electrical construction needs of Aviation facilities (e.g., Airports) and other related construction projects.
- This position will supervise all Mechanical, Electrical, and Special Systems Trade contractors and vendors involved in the project.
- Coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, and Special Systems schedules, budgets, reports, and documentation from pre-construction through close-out.
