A respected Seattle law firm is seeking an  Employment Litigation Legal Assistant (4887)  to support its busy labor and employment practice. This is a fast-paced role requiring strong litigation experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate attorney and case needs. The position requires an initial onsite onboarding period, followed by a hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities :

File pleadings in state and federal courts, including under seal

Docket case events, track deadlines, and coordinate multiple attorney calendars

Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents and correspondence for accuracy and compliance

Manage electronic and paper files, ensuring organization and accessibility

Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and vendors

Provide administrative support, including travel arrangements, expense processing, and scheduling

Qualifications :

Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience in a law firm environment

Advanced knowledge of legal concepts, terminology, and court rules

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills

Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative, high-performance environment
