Seeking an experienced Executive Legal Assistant to provide high-level administrative and legal support to attorneys in a busy and dynamic law practice. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities :
Draft, proofread, and edit legal correspondence, pleadings, briefs, discovery responses, and other case-related materials.
Handle electronic court filings (ECF) accurately and in compliance with deadlines.
Assist in preparing and editing presentations and supporting materials.
Record and manage attorney time using billing software (e.g., TABS).
Conduct legal research using Westlaw and organize supporting materials.
Coordinate membership renewals, dues payments, and conference registrations.
Maintain attorney calendars and track critical dates and deadlines and ensure all written work meets high standards of accuracy, grammar, and formatting.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant or in a similar legal support role.
Prior Labor and Employment Law experience a strong plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience using Westlaw and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Familiarity with NetDocs and TABS software preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple deadlines effectively.
