Required Skills & Qualifications

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Mandatory 10+ years of experience required.
1 year of experience working with Matillion
5 years in an ETL / ELT development role utilizing industry-recognized ETL / ELT tools
2 years of developing and supporting a cloud-based data platform - Snowflake
7 years of experience with snowflake
7 years of experience with AWS
Experience with AWS lambda functions and data pipeline
Experience implementing Change Data Capture (CDC)
Strong knowledge and experience with SQL programming, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and error trapping
Excellent verbal and written communications skills and ability to multi-task within a team-oriented environment

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Oracle Data Integrator

Experience building self-service reporting solutions using business intelligence software (e.g., OBIEE, Looker, Power BI, etc.)

Ability to maintain documentation on ELT process and procedures

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end ELT pipelines that extract data from various sources and load it into data warehouses or lakes

Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and storage solutions, often using tools like dbt, to organize and prepare data for analysis

Build and manage integrations with internal and external data sources and APIs

Implement data validation, quality checks, and security controls to ensure data accuracy and compliance

Configure and monitor data infrastructure, including databases, data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery), and cloud storage solutions

Fine-tune queries and processes to ensure the ETL jobs run efficiently and minimize load times

Monitor scheduled jobs, investigate failures, and debug issues that arise during the ETL process

Continuously maintain and improve existing ETL processes to ensure they remain efficient and meet evolving business needs

Work well in a team collaborative setting, coordinating work and addressing work prioritization, escalating to management when necessary
