Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with any security-related needs to support those on site. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a government location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas, checking identification and / or authorization as required by site policies.Document occurrences and report security-related incidents or issues to the appropriate Allied Universal and / or client personnel.Assist in emergency situations by following established protocols and providing guidance to visitors and staff as needed.Maintain a visible presence while on patrol to help to deter disruptive or criminal behavior within the location.What We're Looking For :

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.Have supervisory experience in a security-related, law enforcement, or military role.Have 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of experience as a security-related supervisor or manager or 3 or more years of security-related experience.Hold a Level III armed certification for Texas roles.Hold a valid CPR certification, preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
