Position Overview
The Master Scheduler plays a pivotal role in aligning customer demand with internal manufacturing capabilities by developing and maintaining a data-driven production schedule. This position requires balancing material availability, labor capacity, and customer delivery requirements to ensure timely, cost-effective production of complex, low-volume, high-mix products with multi-layer BOMs.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a master production schedule that supports customer demand, internal capacity, and material availability.
- Coordinate production activities across fabrication, wiring, and assembly departments.
- Leverage ERP / MRP systems to drive schedule generation, material planning, and capacity analysis.
- Collaborate with purchasing, inventory, and production teams to align materials and labor with schedule requirements.
- Rapidly revise schedules in response to unplanned events such as material shortages, equipment downtime, or labor gaps.
- Partner with engineering, procurement, operations, and quality teams to resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Track KPIs such as on-time delivery, schedule adherence, and backlog, and use data to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field preferred.3–5 years of planning / scheduling experience in a complex, multi-department manufacturing environment (high-mix / low-volume preferred).Strong command of ERP / MRP systems (DBA software experience a plus).Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI / dashboard development a plus.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.APICS CPIM certification preferred.Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.Competencies
