Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing our human resources functions, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong organizational skills and expertise in human capital management.

Duties

  • Employee Relations
  • Conducting investigations into concerns / complaints and providing recommendations.
  • Workers Compensation
  • Managing claims and leading our return-to-work program.
  • Leave Administration
  • Administering LOA (FMLA / CFRA / PDL) and supporting accommodations related to pregnancy and disability.
  • Performance Management
  • Providing expert consultation to managers, including guidance on corrective action and termination decisions.
  • Benefit Administration
  • Supporting annual open enrollment and ongoing benefits management, including oversight of CalSavers enrollment and compliance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in human resources management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of organization design principles and human capital management strategies.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in performance management techniques and tools.
  • In-depth understanding of employment labor laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
