Location : Chantilly, VA (Remote)

Job Details :

InterSystems Cache / IRIS Development expert to work with us on developing our Web applications

Working as part of an agile team to design and implement new features and technologies

Delivering high-quality, high-performance code in a SAFe agile environment, attending a Daily Stand-Up call, and participating in quarterly PI Planning

Qualifications :

Required Work Experience :

Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in full stack software development utilizing :

Back end

o InterSystems Object Technology

o InterSystems Cache / IRIS / ObjectScript

o Experience creating and consuming Web Services

o Object SQL

Front end

o Angular

o JavaScript and jQuery

o mGateway WebLink / EWD

Preferred Work Experience :

Experience in Perforce or GitHub code management

Experience with VS Code editor

Use of GitHub Copilot (Ai) within VS Code editor with Cache / IRIS

Experience working with Agile (2-week sprints) including a Daily Stand Up call and quarterly (PI) Planning

Experience working in Jira for stories and sprint tracking

Code Reviews for all code developed

Knowledge of Industry wide and client specific interface standards including HL7 2.x and 3.x, TopNet, OERDB and SOAP / REST services

Experience in a diagnostic lab or medical industry prefered

Ability to work well with people and be both highly motivated and motivating.

Ability and experience interfacing with customers, peers and management in a highly virtual environment.

Education Preferred :

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented (OO) design patterns, distributed databases, and data modeling techniques.
