Location : Terre Haute, IN 47802 (Indiana healthcare jobs)

Setting : Medical Surgical / Oncology Unit (5th Floor)

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 9 / 2026)

Shift : 12 Hour Nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630–$1750 per week

Employment Type : Travel RN job

Unit Size : 27 beds (expandable to 37)

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

Weekend Requirement : 3 weekend shifts and one Sunday per schedule

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

BLS certification (required for nursing jobs)

Minimum 1 year of Med / Surg nursing experience preferred

Experience with end-of-life care is a plus

Strong communication skills and independent, outgoing personality

Ability to float to 4 East as needed

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Medical Surgical / Oncology unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Meditech EMR

Operate clinical equipment such as Baxter pumps, SCDs, and wound vacs

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, PCTs, and unit secretaries

Ensure patient safety and comfort, including end-of-life care when needed

Follow hospital policies and procedures, including dress code

Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
