Position Title : Shipper

Pay Rate : $23.69 / hr

Category / Shift : Hourly Full-Time (5 : 00 am 1 : 30 pm Monday - Friday)

The Job You Will Perform :

• Perform advanced level material handling for material processing along with routine tasks such as sorting deboxing shredding and receiving
• Complete daily pre-start forklift maintenance inspection report (or VCR)
• Load and unload trailers rail cars and / or containers
• Complete load sheet to accurately record the grades bale count loading start / stop times for finished goods on outbound shipments
• Assist with basic material grading
• Complete bill of lading sheet for shipments
• Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out / tag-out procedure
• Understand and follow load pattern according to trailer railcar bale size and weight variables
• Assist with removing finished bales and storing in proper location
• Complete PMs for all certified mobile equipment regularly
• Participate in weekly and monthly inventory and reporting
• Schedule loads on 3rd party trucking
• Attend and participate in Plant safety meetings
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment according to plant housekeeping standards
• Manage controllable costs through proper equipment tool and consumable usage
• Report any safety or maintenance concerns
• Adhere to Plant policies and guidelines
• Communicate to dispatch when trailers are completely loaded and / or unloaded including trailer number door number
• Communicate with floor lead maintenance issues downtime production issues unacceptable or non-conforming loads poor bale quality errors on supplier tickets versus actual receipts any other issues with material being handled
• Other duties may be assigned
