Title : Senior Security Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Security Engineer. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud security, data analytics, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure configurations for AWS services such as IAM, S3, EC2, RDS, and Lambda.
- Deploy and manage Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools to monitor and remediate misconfigurations.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security into CI / CD pipelines.
- Develop and enforce cloud security policies, standards, and automation scripts.
- Monitor cloud environments for vulnerabilities, compliance drift, and anomalous activity.
- Design and implement data pipelines in Snowflake to ingest, transform, and model security-related data.
- Integrate data from AWS services into centralized analytics platforms.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to visualize security KPIs, compliance metrics, and operational trends.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and data teams to define data requirements and ensure data quality.
Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in cloud security engineering with a strong focus on AWS.Proficiency in AWS security services like GuardDuty, Security Hub, IAM, KMS, and CloudTrail.Hands-on experience with CSPM platforms and cloud compliance frameworks such as CIS, NIST, and ISO.Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Terraform for automation and remediation.Familiarity with container security (EKS, ECS) and serverless security best practices.Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security Specialty, CISSP, CCSP) are a plus.3-5 years of experience in data engineering or analytics roles.Strong proficiency in Snowflake and Power BI.Experience with AWS data lake architecture and services like S3, Glue, and Lake Formation.Familiarity with information security metrics and reporting frameworks.Solid understanding of ETL / ELT processes and data modeling best practices.Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data manipulation and automation.Preferred Skills
