As an Optometrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to our patients. Job Details: Perform annual eye exams and contact lens fittings Diagnose and treat ocular conditions Conduct LASIK and SMILE consultations alongside consultant Manage pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients Collaborate with ophthalmologists in a surgically driven practice Work with a dedicated team and the latest diagnostic technology Alternate weekend call schedule with other doctors for the office’s established patients Be the leader of your assigned office and staff Encourage referral network of physicians and optometrists for surgical candidates Encourage patient follow up and referrals Job Requirements: Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care OD licensed in Texas (or eligible)- Current DEA License- Current Excited to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented surgical practice Team-oriented with strong communication and clinical skills Knowledge of EMR- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of evaluations, including test results and any recommended follow-up care. Knowledge of billing and coding with commercial insurance New grads and experienced ODs encouraged to apply Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge Bilingual is a plus but not required Why LaserCare Eye Center?
