Technician III - AutoCAD Civil 3D - Civil Engineering

Overview

GradyMinor is seeking a Transportation AutoCAD Civil 3D Technician/Designer with the ability to prepare civil construction plans for roadway, drainage, water, wastewater, grading, site layouts and utility plans who will work closely with Project Managers to prepare engineering plans from preliminary through final stage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction drawings for roadway, paving, grading, drainage, water, and sewer plans.
• Use Civil 3D to calculate quantities and earthwork volumes, provide value-oriented design suggestions, review drawings, and documents to assure compliance with company design and production standards.
• Collect and analyze information for design of projects.
• Coordinate with outside sources as needed.
• Review plans / quality control. #LI-TJ1

Qualifications

• Degree/Certification in CADD or related similar industry experience.
• Proficient in designing in Civil 3D including DOT AutoCAD State Kit.
• Must be detail oriented and organized.
• Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of collaborating on project teams.
