Travel Nurse RN - ED - Emergency Department - $2,434 per week

Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Yuma, Arizona.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty : ED - Emergency Department
• Discipline : RN
• Duration : 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift : 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type : Travel
• Trauma Level : Level 3 trauma (ER ran like a level 1), STEMI and Stroke receiving.
• Beds / Trauma Bays : 52 beds with 4 trauma bays .
• Patient Volume : Average of 200 patients / day .
• Ratios : 1 : 5 medical, 1 : 6 for fast track.
• Fast Track : Yes, 6 fast track beds .
• Triage : Quick look-2 areas. Uses ESI.
• Holds : ER holds are intermixed within the ER.
• Psych Rooms : No separate seclusion rooms.
• Common Patients / Diagnoses : Any and all emergency needs.
• Common Drips : ICU gtts for hold patients (ICU assists if able).
• Experience REQ : 2 years ER experience in the past three years.
• Acceptable Experience : Trauma Level I / II experience only.
• Charting System : Epic EMR proficiency required and recently used.
• Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
• Certifications Preferred : TNCC
• RTO Restrictions : No more than 5 days of RTO allowed.
