Job description

Vice President of Sales

This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Larco Enterprises. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel's employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

The Vice President of Sales is responsible for leading the resort's sales strategy to drive revenue growth across all market segments, including leisure, group, corporate, and event business. This executive role oversees the sales team, develops strategic partnerships, and ensures alignment with the resort's brand and financial goals. Adheres to all company, safety and departmental policies and procedures. Fosters teamwork and provides excellent guest service. Anticipates guest needs to exceed guest expectations. Builds brand loyalty by living the JW Marriott Core Values.

Skills / Qualifications :

  • Strong background in hospitality sales, preferably in luxury or resort environments
  • Proven leadership and team-building capabilities
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent selling skills and understanding of sales processes
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools
  • Knowledge of contractual agreements and legal implications
  • Strong customer and relationship management skills
  • Knowledge of overall hotel operations as they affect department
  • Ability to use standard software applications and hotel systems including CI / TY

Required Certificate / License :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in hospitality, preferably in luxury or resort settings
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and leading successful teams
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools
  • Valid Nevada Driver's License
