Payroll Specialist
Vaco Phoenix is looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist for a top client in West Phoenix AZ! This Payroll Specialist will be the only person handling payroll for this company, processing for over 300 employees.
This is a direct hire position paying up to $65k / yr and offering a hybrid work schedule (1 day a week from home). Interviews are being held this week!
Responsibilities :
- Weekly Biweekly process
- 300 employees
- Multi state (AZ, CA, NV, Utah, WA, ID)
- Garnishments
- Will closely work with HR
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required
Job Requirements :
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and relevant legal regulations
- Proficiency with payroll systems Paycom preferred, Workday, Oracle and other systems experience acceptable
- Working knowledge of MS applications, including proficiency with Excel
- High personal standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
- Ability to multi-task assignments, projects, and daily responsibilities with accuracy and high level of comfort working with all levels of employees
- Excellent mathematical skills and basic knowledge of GL accounting
- Ability to grow and develop a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy a must
