Job Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical / electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
- Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.) aiming for vehicle functionality and longevity
- Recommend future maintenance requirements and advise clients on proper vehicle use
- Repair or replace broken, damaged or missing parts and repair issues (e.g.leaks)
- Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
- Document work performed and issues, including warranty concerns
- Keep logs on work and issues, including warranty concerns
- Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
- Test drive vehicles after repairs are complete to ensure mechanical soundness and to determine whether any other problems exist
- Diagnose issues based on drivers' descriptions and vehicle performance
- Keep up-to-date with developments in automotive technology to ensure continuing innovation and efficiency
- Comply with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards
- Ensure health and safety practices are observed in all tasks and procedures
- Communicate with clients about vehicle problems, diagnostic tests, and repairs
- Collaborate with other repair team members to ensure the timely completion of services
- Provide Video Multi-Point Inspections for all of our service vehicles

Qualifications : Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalentCertification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferredProven experience as an automotive technician or mechanicASE certification preferred (National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence)Proficiency in using various hand tools, precision measurement tools, and shop equipmentWorking knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methodsAbility to handle various tools (flux capacitor) and heavy equipment (e.g., lift)Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehiclesWorking knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methodsAbility to read and understand complex technical manuals and schematicsPhysical strength and stamina to lift heavy objects and work in cramped spacesValid and clean motor vehicle history reportValid driver’s licenseGood communication skills and the ability to explain complex issues to non-technical individualsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skills and detail-orientedBasic computer and reporting skillsCommitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge through continuous education and trainingWe Offer :

Compensation : The Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $25 and $50
