Position : Plant Engineer Salary Range : $120K-$140K Summary Of Job : The Plant Engineer will provide engineering and technical support for production, maintenance, quality control, research marketing and management to ensure the safety, efficiency, quality and performance of new and existing processes, equipment and products. Job Responsibilities : Ensure effective execution of the facilities capital investment plan & budget, $10M- $15M+ annually, through all phases of planning and implementation. Develop and maintain the capital project forecast, working with the Plant Controller to ensure accuracy and timeliness of forecast development Implement and manage multiple simultaneous projects exceeding $1,000,000+ such that schedule, costs and scope is successfully accomplished. Monitor, track and report project critical success factors as required to satisfy project goals and management requests Ensure change management procedures are implemented and followed through on all capital investment and process project changes Participate in Factory Mutual audits and implementation of findings through capital project development for opportunities noted Participate and be subject matter expert on all inspections for authorities having jurisdiction on all equipment under local and state jurisdictional inspections Develop any general policy compliance auditing methods to ensure the crane is operating, maintained, repaired and modified according to the Division policy. Assist in the recommendation and approve all equipment, equipment modifications, vendor, and contractor selections for assigned projects and maintenance work. Set objectives and priorities on approved projects and maintenance work. Approves operation and maintenance procedures for new and existing plant processes Responsible for HSMS element related to change management for CAPEX. Coach and mentor all engineers on the plant site in planning, executing, managing, commissioning, and hand off of projects. Performs general physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs, moving whole body and multilimbed coordination Job Requirements : BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering. Minimum of 7 – 10 yrs. Experience in plant manufacturing environment – hands-on experience with vendors, contractors, and other sites. Must have experience managing $1,000,000+ projects Knowledge of CAD software, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office 365 Knowledge of process control and automation is desirable. Maintains current knowledge and understanding of the latest national standards for operations, maintenance and repair of cranes to ensure that HEW meets these standards Balancing the requirements of production, maintenance, research and marketing with budgetary and time constraints. Maintaining a high level of expertise in those technical areas that affect the performance of the plant operation. Assist in maintaining an effective Preventive and Predictive Maintenance program to ensure maximum plant up time and reliability.
