Job Summary

As a Nursing Assistant (NA), you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and resident-centered care in our long-term care facility. Your responsibilities will include :

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Providing basic healthcare support, including obtaining and recording vital signs.
• Offering psychological support and facilitating emotional well-being for residents.
• Assisting with mobility needs, such as transferring, repositioning, and walking.
• Engaging residents during meal times, ensuring a positive dining experience while assisting with meal preparation and service.
• Documenting resident interactions and communicating changes to the nursing staff.
• Maintaining cleanliness in the living areas and supporting housekeeping tasks.
• Encouraging resident participation in wellness and recreational programs.

Essential qualities for this role include compassion, strong communication skills, and a commitment to following infection prevention and control protocols.
