Position : Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (Step-Down)

Location : Meriden, CT

Schedule : 36 hours per week | 3 × 12-hour shifts

On-Call : Every other week (EOW)

DESCRIPTION

Position : Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (Step-Down)

Key Responsibilities :

Provide direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit, including monitoring, assessment, and implementation of care plans.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Maintain accurate documentation in Epic.

Respond to patient needs and emergencies, with the ability to float to ICU as required.

Participate in on-call and holiday rotations as scheduled.

Qualifications :

Active RN license in Connecticut

Minimum 2 years of Step-Down or Progressive Care Unit experience preferred

NIHSS Certification – Only the one-year certification is accepted

Epic experience strongly preferred

Critical Care experience is a plus
