Job descriptionInpatient medical care for psychiatric population 16-bed units, 3 units total; shared among providers Adult patients only Supported by full care team : APPs, RN staff, psychologists, and medical leadership 2 weekends per month; flexible rotation 8 am to 5 pm both days Long-term coverage into 2026 2 to 6 patients per day Focus on common inpatient issues : heart conditions, pregnancy, STDs, medication management, light wound care Complex cases transferred to a nearby teaching hospital MD or DO with inpatient experience Board Certified or Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine North Carolina license required Must be able to prescribe and interpret labs All-inclusive rate structure; provider arranges their own travel and lodging Bolster your CV with a diverse range of experiences, demonstrating adaptability, versatility, and a commitment to excellence. About The Position
Family or Internal Medicine Physician, Locums in North Carolina
Inpatient weekend coverage for an adult psychiatric treatment center in Greenville, North Carolina. Medical focus only - no psychiatric care required.
Highlights :
- Every other weekend only; Saturday and Sunday, 8 am to 5 pm
- No call required
- Fast credentialing in 2 to 4 weeks
