Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Unit secretary on days & nights, occasional tech help

Type of equipment : GE monitors, Alaris pumps, Puritan Bennet ventilators

Documentation system : Meditech

Scheduling requirements : 36 hours / wk, 3 weekend shifts / 4 weeks

Floating policy : Contract labor floats before core staff

Patient Experience requirements : at least 1 year critical care

Hospital Specifics-

Certifications : ACLS

Requested Skill Set : Must have : 1 year critical care experience, ACLS, NIH certification Advanced skills needed : Ability to manage : arterial lines, venous / arterial sheaths / cardiovascular & vasopressor drips / ventilated patients Procedures performed on unit : Bedside central line placement, Massive transfusion protocol, Certifications Required : ACLS
