We are seeking a talented and experienced Principal UX Designer to join the Oracle Health team, where you will play a key role in shaping our next-generation healthcare products. In this role, you will support the development of both hardware and software applications by creating, evaluating, and refining user experience prototypes that drive innovation and usability. Your expertise in user-centered design will directly influence product strategy, ensuring that our solutions are intuitive, accessible, and impactful for healthcare professionals and patients alike. Responsibilities

Role Responsibilities and Impact :

OHPAS Acute, Specialty, and Behavioral Health : Lead the UX design efforts for these critical healthcare modules, ensuring intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.

Prototyping and Design : Create, evaluate, and iterate on prototypes, collaborating closely with development teams to translate concepts into functional designs.

User Research : Conduct user profiling, task analysis, and usability testing to identify user needs and pain points, ensuring our solutions are tailored to the healthcare domain.

Design Process Improvement : Implement and refine software design / usability processes, focusing on human error control, display design, and interactive elements.

Collaboration : Work closely with product development teams to provide UX guidance, including visual graphics, web interfaces, multimedia, and conversational UI design.

Documentation : Produce detailed specifications and design documents, communicating user requirements and design decisions to stakeholders

Requirements :

Extensive experience in UX design for software applications, preferably in the healthcare industry.

Proficiency in prototyping tools, usability testing methods, and user research techniques.

HW and SW application development HUGE Plus

Strong communication skills for conveying design ideas and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

A portfolio demonstrating successful UX design projects and problem-solving abilities.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US : Hiring Range in USD from : $97,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave : 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
