Requirements :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of local and state regulations governing speech-language therapy services.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct virtual evaluations and assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders, and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide online speech-language therapy services to students, focusing on improving communication skills and facilitating academic and social participation.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other team members remotely to support students' academic and communication success.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress notes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings virtually.
- Stay updated on best practices and trends in online speech-language therapy.
