Engineering Manager

The Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring the health and safety of all team members, promoting a safe work environment, and addressing hazards appropriately. This role oversees engineering projects and capital planning, including facility and equipment design, installation, and modification. The manager supports cross-functional collaboration, troubleshooting, and operational efficiency. Additional responsibilities include managing environmental programs and ensuring compliance with EPA and Saint-Gobain regulations. The Engineering Manager oversees GAPS and insurance programs, leads cost-reduction initiatives, and makes key technical and financial decisions to ensure safe, efficient operations. Responsibilities include mentoring team members, selecting vendors and contractors, and improving equipment reliability and process efficiency. Researching new production technologies is also essential.

Essential Functions :

• Environmental, Health, and Safety oversight (direct and indirect)
• Department oversight (Mechanical, Electrical, and Project Engineering)
• Project Management; CAPEX
• Staff functions
• Cost control
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering studies.
• 5 years of managerial experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• 3-7 years of Engineering background (Project Management or Process Engineering) is preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt; Kaizen, SPC, Root Cause Analysis preferred.
• OSHA Certification preferred
• Advanced computer skills; Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams focused)
• Electronic Communication Proficiency
• Comfortable in both small and large public speaking settings (Internal and external to site)

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position, which is $111,000 to $177,000 per year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 15% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $127,650 to $203,550. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guaranteed. Employees have the flexibility to choose the benefits that best fit their individual needs.
