General Responsibilities
Employment in and by the church is substantially different from secular employment. Church employees must conduct themselves in a manner which is consistent with and supportive of the mission and purpose of the Church. Their public behavior must not violate the faith, morals or laws of the Church of the Archdiocese, such that it can embarrass the Church or give rise to scandal. It is a required that this employee be an active, participating Roman Catholic.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers by providing learning accommodations for students (tests read aloud, tutoring, proctoring tests in a separate environment, etc.)
- Work with students on a one on one or small group setting when tutoring or giving assessments
- Assess students\' reading levels, oral reading fluency, etc.
- Attend meetings to discuss students with exceptional needs
- Coordinate NWEA / CLT / aimswebPlus standardized testing
- Provide feedback and suggestions to teachers and administrators regarding student academic needs
- Attend all in-service days or professional development days
- Assume recess, lunchroom, playground and dismissal duties
- Attend daily Mass with students
- Accept general responsibilities required for a clean, safe and organized school
- Follow policies of the Faculty Handbook as well as the Parent-Student Handbook
