Houseperson - Residential Property Support
Overview
The Houseperson plays a key role in maintaining the overall cleanliness, functionality, and presentation of a private residence. This hands-on position supports the housekeeping and culinary teams while ensuring that both indoor and outdoor areas remain spotless, organized, and guest-ready. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, discreet, proactive, and experienced in high-end residential or hospitality settings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Exterior & Interior Property Upkeep
- Maintain exterior cleanliness of patios, walkways, lanais, and entry points
- Clean outdoor furniture and ensure guest areas are always tidy and presentable
- Perform light maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing bulbs, tightening fixtures, reporting issues)
- Clean exterior windows and doors within safe reach
- Maintain neat and organized garage, storage areas, and trash zones
- Maintain cleanliness of household equipment (e.g., vacuums, cleaning carts)
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen prep areas, appliances, and surfaces
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware
- Support food and beverage service during private events as directed
- Assist with trash disposal and recycling throughout the property
General Household Support
Assist with moving furniture, deliveries, and seasonal setupsSupport other departments (housekeeping, culinary, maintenance) as neededEnsure cleaning products and tools are properly used and storedMaintain a polished, professional appearance and demeanor at all timesRespect the privacy and confidentiality of principals and guestsQualifications
