Location : Galleria Woods, Hoover, Alabama

Pay Rate : $25.50 - $29.50 per hour

Weekend Shift Differential : $3.00 per hour

Galleria Woods is a premier retirement community in Hoover, Alabama, and we're looking for extraordinary LPNs to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your clinical and hospitality skills in our 24-bed Assisted Living Nursing Unit. We offer a great teamwork environment and supportive management. Shift Details :

  • Part Time Day 6 a.m. - 2 pm every other weekend.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • LPN currently licensed by the State of Alabama.
  • At least 6 months of nursing experience, preferably with geriatric involvement.

    • Your Responsibilities :

  • Administer medications.
  • Provide treatments, including dressings, catheterization, suctioning, oxygen, etc.
  • Assist in direct resident care as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered.
  • Assist in admission and discharge procedures.
  • Respond to resident emergency call systems as indicated.
  • Make rounds with physicians and transcribe orders.
  • Keep physicians and families aware of changes in residents' conditions.
  • Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each patient.
  • Ensure continuity of services and care.
  • Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
  • Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
