Job description6+ years of professional experience in native Android development using Kotlin. Strong knowledge of the Android platform SDK and Jetpack frameworks. Proficiency in XML-based layout design and UI development. Hands-on experience deploying apps to the Google Play Store. Solid understanding of JUnit testing and Android best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. Salary range : $150,000 – $170,000 depending on experience Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO Flexible work arrangements
Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join an innovative organization in the mobile and web-based learning platform industry. The Senior Android Engineer role is ideal for an experienced developer with strong expertise in Kotlin and a deep understanding of the Android ecosystem.
Responsibilities of the Senior Android Engineer :
- Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
- Build and optimize user interfaces leveraging XML-based layouts and Jetpack frameworks.
- Deploy applications to the Google Play Store, ensuring compliance with guidelines and best practices.
- Implement and maintain automated testing using JUnit.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable mobile solutions.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance and user experience.
