Accounting Assistant
LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for an Accounting Specialist / Junior Accountant for a growing client near downtown Portland.
The Ideal candidate will need at least 1+ years of accounting along with a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. This position is temp to hire and will pay between $25 and $28 / hr.

In this role, you will :
Assist in monthly close and financial reporting
Provide periodic and ad hoc reports and analysis that provide insights to the financial data.
Evaluate, maintain, and improve applicable internal controls and accounting processes.
Assist in year-end close and annual external audit process.
To be a fit, you must have :
1+ year of accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred but not required with appropriate experience.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent communication skills

Compensation : $25-28 / hr. USD
Work Hours : 8 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM, 40 hours a week
