Position Description :
We are looking for a highly skilled and organized Integrated Master Scheduler III to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and directing work, coordinating efforts related to designing, developing, and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
You will apply project management principles to develop large and complex schedules, perform program schedule analysis, and monitor OEM schedule performance to ensure project success.
This position is located in Huntsville, AL.
Your future duties and responsibilities :
- Organize and direct work, coordinating efforts related to designing, developing, and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for projects.
- Apply principles of project management to develop large and complex schedules that meet project requirements.
- Perform program schedule analysis, including metrics, critical path analysis, float, and schedule variances.
- Build and maintain a program-level IMS that includes major milestones and deliverables from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Government sources.
- Monitor OEM schedule performance to identify and address weekly and monthly variances.
- Utilize Gantt charts, PERT charts, milestone charts, earned value management, and other project management techniques to track progress and identify performance variances.
- Act as a scheduling subject matter expert and mentor program staff on scheduling best practices.
- Understand and proficiently use enterprise-level scheduling software to manage and update schedules effectively.
- Propose and implement processes that improve Integrated Scheduling efficiency and accuracy.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
Bachelor's Degree and over 12 years of relevant experience in integrated master scheduling.
Due to the nature of the contract, US citizenship and a SECRET clearance are required
- Expert knowledge in the use of MS Project for creating and managing project schedules.
- Proven experience in organizing and directing work related to Integrated Master Schedules for large projects.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to perform detailed schedule analysis to ensure project success.
