Job Summary : We are seeking a highly motivated Tax Manager tojoin our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelors inaccounting or law a CPA or JD 5 years experience providingfinancial statement auditing services with 2 years in a supervisoryrole.
Responsibilities :
- Bea trusted member of the engagement team providing various federaltax compliance and consulting services to industry specificclients :
- Be a valued tax business advisorfocusing on daytoday tax matters with various clients ranging frommiddle market to multinational.
- Consult ontechnical matters and special projects in various areas ofcorporate and flow through taxation accounting methods andASC740.
- Research various tax matters respond toIRS and other tax authority inquiries and make recommendations tothe client for consideration.
- Coordinate withspecialty tax practices on complicated tax matters in the state andlocal high net worth international research and development alongwith credits and incentivesareas.
- Assist withmanaging client engagement staffing billings / collections and ensureclient profitability targets are met.
- Utilizeyour entrepreneurial skills to network and build strongrelationships internally and externally with clients and thecommunity.
- Invest in your professionaldevelopment individually and through participation in firm widelearning and development programs.
- Support thegrowth and development of team members through company providedtools.
- Enjoy friendships social activities andteam outings that encourage a worklifebalance.
Qualifications
- Bachelorsdegree in accounting or law or a similar degree in business Mastersor advanced degree desirable
- CPA or JDrequired.
- Five (5) years experience providingfederal tax compliance and consulting services in a professionalservice firm.
- Two (2 ) years of supervisoryexperience mentoring and counselingassociates.
- Demonstrated management analyticalorganization interpersonal project management communicationskills.
- Ability to lead and supervise othersprovide exceptional client service demonstrate commitment tocontinuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicablestrategies see the big picture as well as the details displayappropriate ethical knowledge and commitment and exhibit a sense ofurgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion ofprojects.
- Highly developed software andMicrosoft Suite skills
- Eligibility to work inthe U.S. without sponsorshippreferred.
