Description
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Coaches participants individually or in groups at job sites, retail stores, or contract locations.
2. Liaise with HR and the Director of Vocational Services to support associates with disabilities and ensure the provision of workplace accommodations.
3. Monitors and assists participants involved in the AbilityOne program to ensure contract requirements are met and performance standards are upheld.
4. Oversees and guides participants in the Partnership Work Experience program, facilitating skill-building and fostering independence.
5. Develops individualized strategies, including task modification and visual aids, to support learning and skill development.
6. Tracks attendance, progress, goals, and outcomes in accordance with funding and regulatory requirements.
7. Completes timely and accurate documentation or reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) that are in accordance with OIDD, AbilityOne, HIPAA, and internal policies and procedures.
8. Maintains confidentiality of all records and files, ensuring HIPAA compliance, safe and secure in designated areas.
9. Communicates with leadership, employer partners, families, and case managers to support participant success.
10. Advocates for a safe, inclusive, and respectful work environment, modeling professional behaviors.
11. Transports participants / associates and travels as needed to support program activities, performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education : Associates Degree or equivalent is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
o Read, write, speak, and understand English
o Follow instructions in verbal and written format
o Communicate efficiently and effectively
o Interact and maintain good working relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds, and individuals with disabilities
o Work extended hours and various schedules, and travel frequently to local sites and work flexible hours.

Minimum Qualifications : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to drive, have a valid South Carolina driver's license, liability insurance, dependable vehicle, and clean driving record. Ability to complete a central registry check, criminal background check (local and federal) and drug / alcohol test. Other qualifications include :
Physical Requirements : Daily requirements may include walking, climbing, balancing, reaching, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, stooping, kneeling, handling, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling. May be exposed to dust and odors. May be required to do limited work outdoors.
Safety & Security : Responsible for following all safety, security, and money handling procedures, as directed by Goodwill policy. Report all accidents, however slight, to your supervisor immediately. Never leave the premises without reporting any accident that occurred during your working time. If medical treatment is needed during your non-work hours, the supervisor should be contacted.

Work Hours : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM Monday - Friday or whatever hours are required to meet the professional requirements of the job.
Work Attire : Casual attire; however, professional business attire when appropriate. Dress is to be reflective of Goodwill's positive image in the community. Each associate will present a neat and clean appearance at all times.
