What You'll Experience :
- Mentorship - Work closely with a dedicated mentor who will provide guidance, feedback, and support throughout your internship
- In-depth Panel Discussions - Engage with our functional leaders through panel discussions designed to give you an insider's view of the real estate investment business
- Meet & Greet with Leaders - Network with our senior leadership team and gain valuable insights into the industry. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and seek career advice
- Property Tours - Take part in guided property tours of key assets in our portfolio and get behind the scenes look at the operational aspects of real estate
- Volunteering Event - Give back to the community while building relationships with your fellow interns and our team. Our volunteering event is a great way to make a difference and enhance your teamwork skills
- Project Presentation - At the end of the summer, you will prepare and deliver a presentation to Berkshire's Senior Leadership Team summarizing a project or key task that you have been working on at Berkshire, the insights you gained through your internship experience, and recommend any process enhancements
What you'll do :
Assist with marketing material creation and updatesAssist with current or prospective investor requestsAssist with tracking corporate facts and figures and current investorsListen in on current or prospective investor meetingsAssist with competitor researchAnalyze financial models and strategies for new investment product initiativesUtilize and monitor CRM systemUtilize and monitor RFP softwareWho we're looking for :
Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Real Estate, Finance, Business or a related field with an anticipated graduation date in 2027Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook or similar programsAvailable to work in person from June to mid-August (approx. 12 weeks) from 9 : 00 am-5 : 30 pm, Monday through FridayAbility to present findings to senior leadershipAble to maintain strict confidentialityDetail oriented and organizedEffective written and oral communication skillsExcellent customer service and collaboration skillsObjective thinking skillsHave an aptitude for learning and be comfortable working in a dynamic environmentAbility to communicate and work with different departments throughout BerkshireBerkshire Residential values diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
