Due to growth, Tenax, a leading manufacturer of high-end plastics, is searching for a Quality Assurance Associate to join in leading their team in the Evergreen, AL area.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations.
  • Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to verify product dimensions and specifications.
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
  • Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Participate in quality audits and assist in the implementation of corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and improve overall product quality.

About the Company : Established in Ohio in 1984 as a distribution center under the name of ATP (American Tenax Products), Tenax relocated to Jessup, Maryland in 1987 to open its first U.

S. manufacturing facility. In 1993, the company expanded its operation and moved to our current location in East Baltimore.

In 2001, Tenax acquired an additional production plant in Evergreen, Alabama. Currently Tenax Corporation serves the USA, Canada, Mexico, and Central and South America with specialty products for netting and fencing, pipe protection, construction, agricultural, gardening and DIY applications .
