Florida State University is currently in the leadership comprehensive campaign. As the leadership phase of the campaign begins, the Division of University Advancement is accelerating the hiring of additional Alumni Engagement professionals campus-wide and is excited to build out its team. For Advancement professionals who are interested in being a part of a comprehensive campaign from the beginning for their career development, the timing is ideal to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Supports coordination of the sales, campaign development and execution of the Westcott brick program and travel program
• Participates in brainstorming, copy draft writing, and administrative tasks for campaigns
• Monitors the general Westcott brick email inbox and travel program inbox
• Assists with conducting market research to identify new donors and travelers for the brick and travelers' program
• Supports the development of new revenue opportunities
• Develop reports to share impact reports to both internal and external stakeholders
• Additional administrative tasks required by the marketing personnel
• Assists with targeting potential stakeholders for sponsorship and advertising opportunities within the Association
• Attend community events that directly support new revenue opportunities including but not limited to Chamber events or TOPS events; source leads within these markets
• Surface potential business partners / sponsors for the Alumni Association; Support the development of new revenue opportunities
• Work with marketing personnel to follow up on leads and close deals
• Support the development of new opportunities
• Develop reports on growth and new opportunities to stakeholders
• Develop reports to share impact reports to both internal and external stakeholders
• Helps manage the Class Rings and Seminoles Forever fund initiatives
• Responsible for the brainstorming and initial draft of the campaigns for these initiatives
• Track and report to marketing personnel on campaign performances
• Manages the stewardship and informational campaigns and collateral that go along with the Seminoles Forever campaigns
• Assists with conducting market research to identify new donors and promotional products / marketing efforts
• Supports the development of new revenue opportunities for these initiatives
• Develop reports to share impact to both internal and external stakeholders
• Additional administrative tasks as required
• Contributes to the design and execution of an annual marketing plan to create awareness around the Alumni Associations programs, products, and services
• Represents and strengthens marketing efforts at event programming and tabling; including but not limited to homecoming, commencement, tailgates, reunions, kickoff events, and networking events, as assigned
• Work collaboratively with internal peers to evaluate emerging opportunities, new assets, and marketing elements
• Attend meetings for / with marketing personnel as needed
• Keeps abreast of new alumni initiatives utilizing CAMMP network and other available resources
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience. (Note : a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.)

Valid FL or GA Driver's License or the ability to obtain upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in creative development and marketing strategy, including content creation, branding, or campaign execution.
