Description :

Emergency Room nurses provide care for patients in the emergency department.

They are responsible for the treatment of hospitalized patients, including those in inpatient, observation, and swing bed settings.

The role also includes caring for outpatients who come for infusions or other treatments.

Nurses will manage the care of patients presenting to the emergency room.

Computerized charting and medication scanning using Epic is required.

The unit has a 12-bed inpatient capacity and 10 med / surg beds, along with outpatient rooms.

Preferred experience includes 2-3 years in Med Surg and / or Emergency Room settings.

Nurses must adhere to a dress code of navy blue scrubs.

Weekend shifts of 1 to 2 per month are required.

This is a night shift position, requiring a total of 36 hours per week.

All clinicians must badge in and out of the facility.
