We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trust and Estates Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. This full-time, permanent position involves handling a variety of complex trust and estate matters, including litigation, probate, conservatorship, complex planning, mitigating tax liability, and complex administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these areas, with a deep understanding of tax law. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and to be part of a team that values professional growth and development.

Responsibilities :

1. Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of trust and estate matters.

2. Handle all aspects of probate and conservatorship proceedings, including litigation.

3. Develop and implement complex estate plans to achieve clients' financial and personal objectives.

4. Advise clients on strategies to minimize tax liability and ensure compliance with tax laws.

5. Manage complex trust and estate administrations, including the preparation of estate tax returns.

6. Represent clients in disputes involving trusts and estates.

7. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.

8. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in trust and estate law and tax regulations.

Qualifications :

1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

2. A minimum of 2-7 years' experience in trust and estate law, probate, conservatorship, complex planning, and complex administration.

3. Licensed to practice law in the state.

4. Extensive knowledge of tax law, with a focus on strategies for mitigating tax liability.

5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

6. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

8. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

9. High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

10. Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development and learning.
