Responsibilities

• Perform reconnaissance and classification of UXO. Identify U.S. and foreign-guided missiles, bombs and bomb fuzes, projectiles and projectile fuzes, grenades and grenades fuzes, rockets and rocket fuzes, land mines and associated components, pyrotechnics, military explosives, and demolition materials.
• Supervise the location of subsurface UXO using military and / or civilian magnetometers. Supervise excavation and recovery of subsurface UXO, construction of engineering controls, and location of surface UXO by visual means.
• Manage transportation and storage of UXO in compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Oversee disposal of UXO by burning or detonation. Determine UXO-related storage compatibility.
• Supervise the donning and doffing of PPE and maintenance and operator checks on all team equipment. Prepare UXO-related administrative reports and maintain a daily logbook. Conduct daily team safety and task hazard analysis briefings.

Compensation

Offered rate of compensation will be based on education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is USD 59 - USD 60 per hour.
