THE POSITION

Our roster has an opening with your name on it

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Data Products team within our Data Analytics and Insights organization. This is a key role in a fast-paced environment working with teams and stakeholders across the business to develop our next generation Data Platform. If you’re excited by this challenge and want to work within a dynamic company, then we’d love to hear from you.

THE GAME PLAN

Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Collaborate with teams across the business to understand how core data infrastructure supports analytical, ML, and operational use cases
  • Take ownership of data products focused on foundational data engineering tools and platforms — with Databricks at the heart of the platform
  • Lead elicitation of requirements, in the form of user stories & acceptance criteria, prioritizing the product backlog to streamline execution of key platform improvements
  • Partner closely with Data Engineering and Platform teams to drive stability, scale, and usability across core tooling
  • Execute the product strategy and roadmap for Databricks and Airflow (Astronomer), ensuring our platform remains efficient, well-governed, and developer-friendly
  • Influence adoption of best practices across orchestration (Airflow), compute and processing (Databricks), and job development (Python, SQL, dbt)
  • Support integration and rollout of observability and governance tooling including Monte Carlo, Satori, Hightouch, and Kafka
  • Create and maintain documentation, including platform usage guidelines, onboarding materials, and operational support documentation
  • Act as a bridge between engineering and internal users to shape a platform that balances enterprise controls with a seamless developer experience
  • Share best practices within the Product community and foster a culture of technical curiosity, innovation, and continuous improvement

THE STATS

What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 3-6 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Technical Product Manager working in data infrastructure, data engineering, or platform product roles
  • Proven experience (2+ years) managing products or platforms built on Databricks, Airflow (preferably via Astronomer), or similar orchestration and compute tools
  • Familiarity with Python and SQL, particularly in the context of data engineering workflows and developer productivity
  • Bonus points for experience with dbt, Monte Carlo, Hightouch, Satori, or Confluent / Kafka
  • A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and can bring clarity to ambiguity
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with experience translating technical needs into actionable product decisions
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and aligning cross-functional teams around a common platform vision
  • PLAYER BENEFITS

    We treat our team right

We offer amazing benefits above and beyond the basics. We have an array of health plans to choose from (some as low as $0 per paycheck) that include programs for fertility and family planning, mental health support, and fitness benefits. We offer generous paid time off (PTO & sick leave), annual bonus and long-term incentive opportunities (based on performance), 401k with up to a 5% match, commuter benefits , pet insurance, and more - check out all our benefits here :   FanDuel Total Rewards .

  • Benefits differ across location, role, and level.
