• Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

Location : Terrell, TX (covering two nearby facilities)

Pay Range : $85,000 – $95,000 per year, DOE

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team. This direct hire position will oversee EHS programs across two manufacturing sites in Texas. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who can ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations while driving a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures for both facilities.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations—particularly those specific to Texas .

Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.

Provide training and guidance to employees and supervisors on EHS standards, safe work practices, and emergency response.

Lead incident investigations and develop preventive measures to reduce future risks.

Partner with operations leadership to drive safety performance and foster a proactive EHS culture.

Manage environmental reporting, permitting, and waste management in compliance with state and federal requirements.

Maintain accurate EHS records and prepare required reports and documentation.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 5 years of proven EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of Texas-specific environmental regulations.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Ability to travel regularly between two facilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) or related field preferred.

CSP or CHMM certification preferred.
