Responsibilities :
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure the inclusion and success of students in the general education setting.
- Adapt and modify curriculum to meet the individual needs of students.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to engage and support students in their learning.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in IEP meetings as needed.
Requirements :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
- Valid teaching credential in Special Education or ability to obtain one.
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and administrators.
- Dedication to providing high-quality, individualized instruction to students.
