Job description

Job Summary We are seeking an on-site Systems Administrator Microsoft Intune Specialist to support our New York City workforce. This role focuses on device lifecycle management, endpoint security, and hands-on technical support. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and endpoint protection tools, along with excellent communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Microsoft Intune & Endpoint Management Administer Microsoft Intune for Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
  • Deploy compliance policies, configuration profiles, and application packages.
  • Manage Windows Autopilot for provisioning and enrollment of new devices.
  • Security & Compliance Implement and manage Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
  • Collaborate with security teams on Microsoft Purview and Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Monitor and remediate non-compliant devices to maintain security standards.
  • Helpdesk Support & End-User Services Provide in-person support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Respond to technical requests via Jira and email.
  • Conduct onboarding / offboarding sessions, including : Device setup and Intune enrollment.
  • Configuration of Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, VPN).
  • Secure decommissioning of devices.
  • Coordinate vendor service calls and assist telecom technicians.
  • Support on-site network and security deployments as needed.
  • Documentation & Communication Maintain detailed documentation for IT processes and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical and executive staff.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).

Required Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Endpoint Manager.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender, Purview, Sentinel, Azure AD, and Office 365.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server 2019+, Windows 10 / 11, and Active Directory.
  • Understanding of networking protocols (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP / IP).
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware).
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified : Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or CompTIA A+.
  • Experience in multi-site corporate environments.
  • Education : Bachelors Degree
