We are currently seeking a Certified Fire Investigator for part-time support of our forensic operations. In this position, you will apply your technical knowledge to determine the origin and cause of routine as well as complex and unique fires and explosions . This will include structure fires, vehicle fires, products and machinery fires, etc.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for all aspects of private fire investigation from scene exploration and documentation, witness interviews, and photographic and physical evidence collection. Some assignments require a combination of different scientific disciplines; experience working with electrical and mechanical engineers is a strong advantage.
This position is extremely flexible. You will determine your own schedule based on workflow, client needs, and your own commitments. The company is also willing to work with the jurisdictional limitations of current public servants.
This is not a desk job. Our investigators conduct field and lab-based analyses and deliver verbal and written reports of findings. In some cases, they also provide expert testimony via depositions or court appearances. All our employees develop client relationships by providing and maintaining the Company's high standard of customer service and client communications.
