Position Summary The Cloud Web Developer supports mission-critical objectives under the referenced work order by designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud-based web applications. This role ensures compliance with FedRAMP and Department of Defense Impact Level (IL) security requirements while leveraging modern web frameworks and cloud-native architectures across AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.

Job Description
- The Cloud Web Developer is responsible for building and maintaining secure, high-performance web applications in cloud environments. This includes developing front-end and back-end components using modern web technologies, designing and integrating APIs, and deploying applications using cloud-native and serverless architectures.
- The role requires hands-on experience with JavaScript-based frameworks such as React or Angular, as well as strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern web development practices. The developer will design and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs and implement CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing, deployment, and scalability.
- Additional responsibilities include ensuring applications meet FedRAMP and DoD IL security requirements, collaborating with cloud engineers, cybersecurity teams, and program stakeholders, and contributing to architecture decisions that support secure, resilient, and maintainable systems in AWS and Azure environments.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience in the following areas
- Developing secure cloud-based web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Designing and implementing APIs using REST and GraphQL.
- Deploying and managing applications in AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.
- Implementing cloud-native and serverless architectures.
- Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support automated delivery and operations.
- Supporting compliance with FedRAMP and DoD IL security requirements.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong knowledge of modern web development frameworks and best practices.
- Experience with cloud-native application architecture and deployment.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and government compliance requirements.
- Experience operating in government or highly regulated environments.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to translate security and compliance requirements into technical implementations.
Education
- Bachelors degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Desirable Certifications (Preferred, Not Required)
- AWS Certified Developer Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
Clearance Requirement
- An active security clearance at the level specified by the program is required, or the ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance.
