Job descriptionHigh School diploma or equivalent work experience Must have flexibility in personal schedule including weekdays and occasional night and weekend work Strong focus on safety, quality, accountability, integrity, and teamwork OSHA and related safety training a plus Ability to stand and exert physical effort performing manual labor most of the day Ability to lift up to 60 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally Ability to work in confined spaces Willingness to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including hard hat, eye protection, reflective vest, gloves and composite-toed boots Ability to work in severe weather conditions, including extreme heat Knowledge of hand and power tools Knowledge or experience in underground dry and / or wet utility installation a plus Knowledge of street and highway traffic rules and regulations, and safety precautions to be observed in working on or near roads and highways. Ability to detect unsafe or hazardous conditions of equipment and work environment. Thorough knowledge of safety standards and Underground Facilities Law (Blue Stake, Arizona 811) Hold / obtain and maintain an OSHA 10 Certification. Good communication skills and the ability to interact in a team environment Reliable transportation Bilingual English / Spanish a plus Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests Wet and / or humid conditions Moving mechanical parts Precarious places Fumes or airborne particles Outside weather conditions Extreme heat Frequent and / or sustained loud noises Toxic or caustic chemicals Risk of electrical shock Risk of vibration

Salary : $16-$28 hourly DOE
Job Summary
Provide support and assistance to the other skilled crafts working on the project.
Responsibilities
- Follows direction of foreman to perform miscellaneous assigned tasks, including driving, digging, pulling, pushing, lifting, measuring, cutting, marking, recording, positioning, aligning, sealing, and reading prints / drawings
- Exhibits safe work practices by following company rules and OSHA regulations, including attendance at all required safety training programs
- Takes action to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers and falling objects
- Performs a wide variety of manual labor tasks involving dexterous use of hand tools such as pneumatic, electric and hand tools
- Maintain a clean work environment, pick up all tools and equipment to secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards
- Prepare job site and load / unload equipment and materials
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle / equipment inspections
- Adhere to B&F Code of Conduct
